Maintenance

All MBW 's doors, windows and curtain walling are fabricated from high quality products and components that typically provide many years of trouble free service. The majority of our products incorporate sophisticated gearing for opening, locking and ventilation. Like all advanced products, their lifespan is extended if they are operated and maintained correctly.

To ensure they continue to function as they should, regular service and maintenance is imperative. Research shows that the maintenance of doors and windows represents as little as 1% of the buildings cost, however they can account for up to 80% of the total maintenance bill in terms of expensive repairs and replacements should regular maintenance not be carried out.

Planned Maintenance Contract

A PMC of your building envelope is the most economical way to prolong the lifespan of your MBW product and ensure that all warranties remain valid. PMC can assist in the prevention of the most common causes of complaint amongst building users; cold drafts, water leaks, excessive heat or cold.

We can provide a tailored maintenance programme to suit your buildings needs and budget.  All on site surveys and repairs are carried out by our extremely experienced and trained staff.

Emergency Maintenance

Vandalism or accidental damage to your doors, windows or curtain walling can leave the building unsecure and present a safety hazard to building users and the public. 

MBW can undertake a full repair to the original specification.  Our extensive knowledge of product systems and technical expertise allows us to carry out repairs economically and with the least disruption to building users.
