Working closely with Morgan Lovell, Barr Gazetas Architectural & Planning and Real Estate consultants Hollis, we were able to deliver the refurbishment of the full façade for this 1950’s Cat-A office building in the heart of Westminster, London.

Developing the design with the client and key stakeholders over several months, we have helped to create a vibrant urban office space with fantastic views over the River Thames and South Bank. The original façade as pictured below has now been modernized and the combination of the stylish Schuco curtain walling system with the Butech by Porcelanosa Porcelain Rainscreen System, help to increase the natural light into the building, enhancing the environment for the occupants internally, and provide the sweeping contours of cream stone effect to compliment the black granite building next door, on the exterior.

Carrying out the work on such a restricted location and ensuring the minimum of disruption to the retail clients on the ground floor was a real Challange, but as our Contracts Manager Gordon Cuthbert commented, “these difficulties just make the completion of such a project so much more rewarding”. The project was completed at the end of 2019.
