Marshall Brown secures 12th Watkin Jones project

Marshall Brown are delighted to confirm that they have secured their 12th student accommodation project with Watkin Jones

The project in Market Street, Newcastle follows on from the recently completed North Hanover Street and St Mungo avenue sites completed in Glasgow.

This project is the development of a 225 bedroom student accommodation consisting of 46 studios, 2 DDA rooms and 177 cluster beds.

Marshall brown have been engaged to supply and install 1400m2 of Aluminium windows, doors and curtainwall on the former police station site.

Woodside Health Centre commences on site

Marshall Brown have commenced on site at the £20m Woodside Health and Care Centre for Client Morgan Sindall

Marshall Brown have been engaged to fabricate and install Aluminium windows, doors, curtainwall and timber brise soleil to all elevations.

The Woodside Health and Care Centre will be located at Doncaster Street, replacing the existing facility in Barr Street. It will provide GP surgeries, dental, physiotherapy and adult day services, alongside community services such as health visiting, district nursing and the older people’s team and home care.

North Hanover Street Student Accommodation reaches practical completion

 

 

Marshall Brown have now completed their tenth project for client Watkin Jones.
This project includes 440 beds (30studios) & 4,000 gross square ft. of retail space over 13 stories.
This project was completed on time and on budget in time for the august student intake.

Marshall Brown’s largest London project to date has just achieved practical completion on time and under budget.

Engaged by 21 construction for client Helical, MB transformed this ageing building with the use of Schuco FW60+ curtainwall providing 6 floors of Grade A office space and retail units.

St Mungo’s Avenue, Glasgow 1

Marshall Brown have been appointed their Eleventh Watkin Jones Student Accommodation project on this city centre site.

Working for main contractor Watkin Jones, MB have been tasked with providing 1500 m2 of curtain walling, windows and doors over a 12 week programme which will transform this former gap site .

The project is the construction of 349 bedroom (mixture of clusters and studios) student accommodation building of concrete frame construction and up to 8 storeys in height. The project also includes associated landscaping with an amenity courtyard and bicycle storage.

Curtainwall , Window and door installation will start in June of this year .
